Marcus Coleman
Director
With a career spanning over 20 years, Marcus has a wealth of experience leading teams of service providers.
He specialises in supporting Allied Health clinical teams in non-profit organisations—focusing on therapist well-being, support, consistency, and accountability. Marcus has experience in business coaching and leading large healthcare teams.
Current roles: At Allign, Marcus supports Allied Health small business owners to run their business daily and improve their business monthly (and beyond).
Marcus puts his Allied Health business management and growth skills to good use as the owner and Managing Director of Child’s Play Qld, a Psychology practice engaging around 10 clinicians, located in Holland Park West (southern Brisbane).
Marcus actively contributes to the community through Board roles in two non-profit disability service organisations, BestLife Foundation (Board Member) and Swara (Chairperson). Finally, Marcus is the coach/cat-herder of the Sherwood Magpies Under 13s footy legends.
I started working with Marcus, early in my journey to becoming a Psychologist. What I found was that Marcus walks the precarious balance between the business and the human side of things. He understands how a business needs to run, while allowing practitioners the space to practice ethically and thoughtfully. Marcus combines kind and caring, with acumen and knowledge, whilst always willing to learn. It’s a rare combination in the health industry…
